Dr. Leonie Lynch is a graduate of the University of Limerick, Department of Management and Marketing. The primary interest of her PhD research is Visual Literacy and how it is deployed in everyday life. This research explores how consumer culture facilitates and therefore guides visual learning. In framing and situation the study within consumer research, it is suggested that consumer society stimulates active participation by providing consumers with an image bath of infinite visual resources that are useful for developing and deploying visual literacy. Leonie is also graduated from the Limerick School of Art & Design with an honours BA in Fine Art.
